Whether you're joining us for a candle making workshop, booking a private event, hosting a corporate experience, or ordering custom private label candles, the following policies outline what you can expect throughout the process.
These guidelines are designed to provide clarity, ensure exceptional service, and protect the quality of every handcrafted product and experience we create.
Workshop Booking Policies
Reservations
Reservations are required for all public workshops. Your reservation is confirmed once your deposit or payment has been received.
Deposits
Deposits are nonrefundable but are fully transferable to a future reservation, subject to availability.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you're unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate a future reservation based on availability.
Late Arrivals
Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may have a modified experience or may need to reschedule depending on workshop timing.
Age Requirements
Children are welcome at select workshops. Guests under 13 must be accompanied by a participating adult unless otherwise noted.
Private Event Policies
Booking
Private events require a deposit to reserve your date.
Final Guest Count
Final guest counts must be confirmed one week prior to your event. Additional guests may be accommodated based on availability.
Payment
Remaining balances are due before two days prior to your event unless otherwise agreed upon.
Cancellations
Private event deposits are nonrefundable. Approved reschedules are subject to availability.
Corporate Event Policies
Booking
Corporate events are reserved upon receipt of the required payment in full.
Venue Requirements
For offsite events, clients are responsible for providing adequate tables, chairs, electrical access, and workspace unless otherwise arranged.
Travel
Travel fees of $3 per mile (round-trip) is applied for offsite events.
Parking
Clients are responsible for parking fees when complimentary parking is unavailable.
Final Attendance
Final guest counts should be confirmed prior to the event to ensure adequate materials are prepared.
Private Label Order Policies
Payment
Full payment is required to confirm your order and begin production.
Order Approval
All artwork, label designs, fragrance selections, vessel styles, packaging, and order details must be reviewed and approved before production begins.
Production
Production begins after full payment has been received and all design approvals are complete. Production timelines vary based on order size and scheduling.
Changes
Changes requested after final approval may result in additional charges and extended production timelines. Once production has begun, changes cannot be guaranteed.
Returns & Refunds
Because every private label order is custom made, all sales are final and non-refundable.
Updates
We'll keep you informed throughout the production process and notify you when your order is ready for pickup or shipment.
Pickup & Shipping
Orders may be picked up at our Newbury Street studio or shipped for an additional fee.
Product Variations
Each candle is hand poured in small batches. Slight variations in wax appearance, fragrance, vessel finish, and label placement are a natural part of the handcrafted process.
Shipping & Pickup
Retail orders may be picked up at our Newbury Street studio during normal business hours or shipped within the United States.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Delivery times may vary based on carrier and destination.
Returns & Refunds
Retail merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 14 days if unused and in its original condition.
Workshop deposits are nonrefundable but transferable to a future reservation, subject to availability.
Private events, corporate events, and custom private label orders are nonrefundable.
Gift Card Policies
Gift cards are redeemable toward CandleLux products and experiences.
Gift cards are nonrefundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
Gift cards do not expire.
Please treat gift cards like cash. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. We collect only the information necessary to process orders, reservations, and inquiries. Your personal information is never sold or shared with third parties except as required to process payments or fulfill your order.
