Our Start Your Own Candle Line Workshop at CandleLux is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to learn the essential first steps to starting a candle business and developing their own candle collection.
Held at CandleLux Candle-Making Studio & Fragrance Lab on Newbury Street in Boston, this hands-on experience introduces participants to the core principles of candle formulation, fragrance blending, product testing, branding, and pricing.
Participants will leave with the knowledge needed to begin developing their own candle line and bringing their ideas to life while learning from a working candle brand in a professional studio environment on Newbury Street.
Participants will learn within a real working candle studio, gaining insight into the process of developing products for a candle brand.

• Wick sizing and candle safety fundamentals
• Fragrance oils and scent formulation
• Candle pouring temperatures and techniques

• Pricing candles for retail and profit

• Full payment is required to reserve your seat.
Due to the limited seating and preparation required for this workshop, all registrations are non-refundable though fully transferable.

This workshop is designed as an introductory training to help participants begin the process of developing their own candle line.
Because candle development requires testing and experimentation, continued product development will be required after the workshop.
Individual consulting or product troubleshooting after the workshop is not included.
Advanced workshops may be offered in the future for those who wish to deepen their knowledge.
